The story of these baskets

Cattail leaves are high in fibre and are used to make all kinds of household items, like cushions, baskets, fans, and mats. When my nine-year-old son Eric put some wool balls in a cattail basket, we both fell in love with the combination! It's so much easier to put wool balls in a basket than in a cloth bag, and they look great in the laundry room! We considered various shapes for the basket. In the first stage, we designed these round shapes because they were the perfect size for just seven wool dryer balls!
